What do I need to tow this camper?
A.
You'll need a vehicle that is able to tow at least 3400#. The trailer weight is around 3000 lbs and that includes all passengers and gear inside the vehicle. It's all about the weight that is transferred to the transmission. You'll need a 7-Round RV plug and a Class III 2" ball. A straight receiver is the best bet (unless you have a monster truck and then I would bring one with a 2" drop). In the listing pic a 2" rise receiver was used.

Does the camper have electric brakes?
A.
Yes! All trailers over 3000 lbs are required to have electric brakes. To have them function a 7-Round RV plug is needed. The brakes really make a difference in stopping if you vehicle lighter and has a tow capacity hovering around 3000 lbs. We suggest at least a V6 engine.
