Being off-grid was no problem at all as the solar setup powered everything we needed. Our host was super helpful, flexible, and communicated clearly every step of the way. Truly one of the best Outdoorsy experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!

5.0Jill and her husband were wonderful to work with when renting their RV. It was even better than described, and our kids especially loved riding in the back during our trip to the U.P. I would highly recommend this RV to any family looking for a fun getaway and a memorable adventure.

What are the pick-up and drop-off time options?

We're very flexible with pick-up and drop-off times—we just ask that guests maintain good communication and coordinate reasonable timeframes. Feel free to reach out with your travel plans and we'll do our best to accommodate!

Why did an ABS or traction control warning light come on while driving?
A.
During windy conditions or while using cruise control, you may see an ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) or traction control warning illuminate on the dashboard. This is usually triggered by uneven tire grip or road surface instability. The system may briefly interpret crosswinds or sway as a traction issue and automatically disable cruise control for safety. This is normal and doesn’t affect drivability. Once the road stabilizes, the warning light often clears itself.

What kind of fuel mileage can I expect?

The RV averages between 8–10 miles per gallon, depending on how it's driven. Cruising around 60 MPH tends to offer the best fuel efficiency. If you're towing a trailer, expect mileage to drop closer to the lower end of that range.

Absolutely! Birdie is equipped with a hitch and a plug—you can check the listing photos for the connector type.
