Flexible, communicative, always prepared
Andrew accommodates last-minute bookings, ensures the van is ready for early pick-up/return, and provides helpful support and resources throughout the trip.
Easy to drive and maneuver
The van is old but in good shape, easy to drive, and maneuvers well. It is self-sustaining with solar, ample battery capacity, a 30-gallon water tank, full kitchen, toilet, shower, and a comfortable sliding bed.

5.0We arranged an early pick up for the camper and Andrew had the camper ready for us. We each completed our pre-trip inspection and we were able to depart early in the day for our week at Anza-Borrego State Par to see wildflowers. Our plan was to split our camping adventure between RV parks and dispersed (boondocking) camping. The van was is completely self sustaining with solar, solar batteries, toilet, stove, microwave, sink, small refrigerator, etc. All we really had to do was buy diesel fuel and drive. There were plenty of outlets for electronics and charging. The solar batteries seemed to have ample capacity throughout the evening and night. The van is old, but in good shape, easy to drive, and easy to maneuver into spaces. It did take some practice in using the after market backup camera, but once we realized that the camera activated quicker if we went directly from Park to Reverse (instead of Drive or Neutral to Reverse) it became more useful. The mirrors were quite helpful as well in backing up. The 30 gallon fresh water tank was enough to last our whole week in the Anza-Borrego area, primarily because we chose not to use the shower. Instead we used the facilities of our stays at an RV park. We did not use the composting part of the composting toilet. The weather in March was mild by Anza-Borrego standards but the one hot evening was made quite comfortable by using the exhaust fan and an open window. At night as the evening cooled, we could use the fan remote and the side windows in the sleeping area to adjust things to a comfortable temperature. The bed is quite high off the floor so my shorter wife used a stool to climb up. The stool was also helpful to her for getting in and out of the van. After our week's stay we returned the van early in the morning and, again, Andrew was waiting for us. He performed his return inspections and we Uber'd back to the airport for our morning flight home.

5.0The host provided an amazing experience and his Van rental was exactly what was expected and exactly what we wanted for our trip. Overall, my experience was made great by Andrew! We were able to travel freely, staying wherever we wanted, with all of our stuff and amenities neatly organized in the Van. It was the perfect home on wheels for our little So Cal adventure! The shower and bathroom were an awesome touch, we didn't even end up needing it, but it was great to have it as a backup just in case. The Van was roomy, well-organized, had plenty of storage and the kitchen set up was used every single day! My girlfriend and I always had plenty of space, we never felt cramped or stepping over each other, and we were both very much at home in that Van. 10/10, would do it again, major thanks to Andrew for providing such an awesome experience for us!

5.0Truly a seamless and wonderful experience. They really thought of everything. With the desert having such harsh winds and dust, this van kept me safe and comfortable! I would 100% book her again :)

Preguntas frecuentes
P.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
The timing can be flexible, and we can discuss specifics on a case by case basis. I also offer delivery within 25miles, which means I can pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
P.
Does 100 miles per day apply to individual days, or average over the trip?
A.
It is the average. I will look at the odometer at departure/pickup, and check it again upon return. If you put on 900 miles over 10 days, that is less than the 100 mile/day cap, so there would be no surcharge. If you put on 1,100 miles over 10 days, there will be a $75 surcharge ($0.75/mile)
P.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Simple answer, no campground hookups. Electric is provided by batteries that are charged by the Solar panels (always on) or by the engine alternator (optional). The "sewer" is a standalone composting toilet with separate liquid and solids compartments, and you can dump your own liquids every couple days (note $200 fee for solids disposal). For water there is a 30gallon tank which can be filled with a garden hose connection in the rear, but the water generally lasts a week depending on usage.
