Sandy Vans is wonderful. It was so easy to pick up in the San Diego location. The team was great. They explained all the capabilities of the van perfectly. I had no trouble packing up and getting out of town pretty quickly after pickup. The van itself is gorgeous, super clean, and I had a blast. They were very clear with what was included and what wasn't included, so I knew what to pick up at the grocery store. Something I really appreciated was the toilet system they have in place. It was ultimately so easy to clean the van and return it for a simple departure as well. I couldn't recommend more!

This van is actually unreal. Everywhere we went, people were stopping to look (even the cacti seemed impressed 🌵). What surprised me most was how easy it felt to go fully off-grid. We didn’t have to stress about battery or gas at all—it comfortably lasted us days without needing anything, and we covered a few hundred miles without even thinking twice. You can tell a lot of thought went into the build. Everything just… works. It’s super functional but also feels elevated, not scrappy like some vans can. Brian from Sandy Vans made the whole experience seamless. Pickup was smooth, he walked us through everything in a way that actually stuck, and he was super responsive the entire trip. It’s definitely a premium experience, but if you’re even considering it, I’d 100% recommend. It made the trip.
