Resumen de reseñas
Communicative, Resolves Issues Quickly
The owners (e.g., Max, Jon, Pat) are highly responsive, accommodating, and proactive in addressing questions or issues, including mechanical problems and last-minute requests, ensuring a smooth pickup and drop-off process.
Easy-Driving, Compact, Well-Equipped
The van is compact and easy to drive, making it maneuverable on narrow roads. It's well-equipped with essentials like a gas stove, cooking gear, and a comfortable bed. While generally reliable, some older vans may have minor quirks like sticky doors or temperamental key systems.

5.0We were searching for an affordable, practical vehicle for a fun weekend in Yosemite, and this one was the perfect choice. It didn’t come with unnecessary luxuries but had all the essentials for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. The RV’s compact size made maneuvering through the narrow roads at Yosemite’s campgrounds easy. We packed simple meals like pasta and pesto for lunch, and everything else was already onboard: a gas stove with fuel, dishes, cutlery, a pot, bowls, and even dish cleaner and a sponge. One fellow camper was so impressed that he stopped to ask how we customized the vehicle, as he wanted to do something similar with his (haha, we couldn't help him, unfortunately). We had an amazing weekend!

4.0Van was a bit of a gas chuggler and the side doors weren't opening with the key OR the handle, so you really had to jiggle that for quite a while before you could open the side doors. Battery also died once but the host was very helpful in helping us jump start it. Otherwise, extremely comfortable for two people - we very much enjoyed our trip 🙂

4.0Had a great adventure with the van I booked from RoadWorthy Rentals. They were accommodating and pretty responsive. And pick up and drop off was very DIY with a lockbox so easy to coordinate. Note that the van you get may not be the van in the profile photos, which was my experience. The van I got was quite old and “battleworn”. There’s no CarPlay or GPS display, just a 3mm line in for audio. The seats have seen many a spill. Plus the car will splutter when trying to turn on, though she always ended up starting without a problem. Ultimately she always got us to where we wanted to go without any mechanical issues. The transit connect is super easy to drive, and there’s not a lot of gadgetry / plumbing / wiring to worry about here. But also be aware that the left side sliding door where the fridge is stored can be very difficult to pull in and out for those with less upper body strength. As is the case with many transit connects, the key system and wiring is a puzzle. It will lock and/or not lock without rhythm or reason so you will have to remember to check each door to ensure it’s locked before you step away from the car. There was one time where the van locked automatically with the keys inside and I had to get the fire dept to open it for me. I still ended up having a great time with the van. Just be aware of what you’re renting here.
