5I only used the RV in my driveway while my house was being worked on. Mario was the perfect host. He explained all the ins and outs of the RV and got everything setup for my stay. I would recommend this host.

1Where to begin…We requested to have the RV delivered by 12p which was confirmed by owner only to have it dropped off 5 hours later. The first excuse was that it was rear ended and in the shop(mind you the dent looked like it had been there for weeks), second excuse was that one of the tires had a blowout and they had to fix it themselves. Excuse after excuse, never owned up to anything. From there it just snowballed. During the walkthrough of the RV, he opens bathroom door only to find a swarm of gnats that flew right in my face(owner completely acted as if he didn’t see any of this happen) so of course I mentioned it. His response was “it’s because it’s been sitting in the shop). We move onto the refrigerator where a fowl odor slapped me in the face “because it was sitting in the shop”. The burner for the stove as he explained was too hard to work, so he had a campfire stove top, really? Had to turn off AC completely if we needed to use the microwave. Should of read all of the reviews- LOOK ELSEWHERE- SMH.

3I had been wanting to try out a Mercedes sprinter RV for a long time. We found this one and overall had a great trip but now thinking about the experience I will not rent anything over a year old due to the nature of wear and tear on the vehicle and the risk you take for it to impact your trip. 1. Our trip that was suppposed to take 6 hours to arrive took us 12 due to the check engine light that came on and would not turn off. By the time we got clearance to go, we lost over 2.5 hours. But got late and needed to stop amd stay awake at that point. So prolonged our journey quite a bit. 2. The generator turned on 50% of the time. Which made it challenging to use the amenities we were needing at the time. Luckily it came on after a few hours. 3. It took 2 people to take a shower. One in the shower and one standing by the water pump button to keep turning it back on. Not sure why, but not ideal. When washing your hands alone, you would turn on and suds up and then have to walk over and turn it on once or twice to finish washing your hands. 4. The kitchen sink smelled like fish. We only used it to rinse vegetables so we kept the cover on it all the time so it did not stink up the inside. 5. We lost a hubcap but never hit anything. Not sure why one would come off as we did not hit anything but once again, this seems to be a risk when renting an older RV. Unfortunate. 6. The pop out was a great feature amd worked while on our trip but when we got home, I followed directions and it just would not pop out again. To give us room to clean. Like I said before, we had a good trip but these little things have never happened with a newer model RV, so I am not sure I will ever rent w Outdoorsy again, even though we rent an RV 3-4 times a year….. grateful we made it home safely but was not the best experience.

4We had a great father-son trip, the RV didn't enhance or make the trip worse in any way, the RV was noisy when driving but everything worked and was in good condition, the owners delivered the RV late the day of departure but for the most part, were communicative if i had any questions, i delivered the RV the evening before the due date, I broke one of the latch door keys, i was charged 20.00 for this which was exaggerated for a 3.00 rekey ( would have done this but returned it on a Saturday night and no key places were open) Overall for the first time renting an RV and driving one nothing was bad about the experience, i would use this app again and try out a newer RV next time around
