5. USAGE RULES & RESTRICTIONS 5.1 Prohibited Uses: The Vehicle shall NOT be used for: Illegal activities or transport of contraband. Towing anything behind the rental unit. Travel into Mexico or Canada (Continental US Only). 5.2 Roof Access (Strict Prohibition): Guests are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from climbing on the roof of the Vehicle for any reason. Violation: Evidence of roof access results in a $500.00 Penalty plus the cost of a full roof seal inspection. 5.3 Smoking Policy: Smoking (including cigarettes, marijuana, and vaping) is PROHIBITED inside the Vehicle. Violation: Evidence of smoking (odor/ash) results in a $250.00 Fee plus cleaning costs. 5.4 Pet Policy: Allowed: Maximum of 2 Dogs (must be pre-approved). Fee: A $50.00 Pet Fee applies. Unreported pets will incur a $150.00 Penalty. 6. EQUIPMENT & UTILITIES 6.1 Generator (If Equipped): 4 Hours/Day included. Overage: $4.00/hour. 6.2 Mileage (Motorized Only): 100 Miles/Day included. Overage: $0.45/mile. 6.3 Awnings: Renter agrees to retract the awning during wind, rain, or when leaving the campsite. Damage to awnings is almost always "Renter Negligence" and is rarely covered by insurance. Renter is 100% liable for awning replacement costs (typically $1,500+). 6.4 Tires: Renter Responsibility: Damage from road hazards (nails, curbs, blowouts due to low pressure). 7. EMERGENCY PROTOCOLS 7.1 Roadside Assistance: In the event of a breakdown, Renter must first call the Roadside Assistance provider listed in the Booking. 7.2 Repairs: Renter is authorized to purchase repairs/parts up to $200.00 to maintain the trip (e.g., hose, fuse, battery). Receipts are required for reimbursement. Repairs $200 require Owner approval. 7.3 Accidents: A Police Report is MANDATORY for any accident involving another vehicle or property damage. Failure to file a report may void insurance coverage.
