Are you wanting to have a VanLife experience without being closed up in the typical DIY work van with no windows? Well this may be the Sprinter you are looking for. Vandalf, our Mercedes Sprinter based Airstream Interstate, is ready for your Tennessee adventures. Our Airstream van is fully outfit by one of the premiere RV builders in the nation. Because it is based on a standard Sprinter Van, it is easy to drive. Yet it is fully equipped with a kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. It also has a full wet bath with sink, hot water shower and toilet (Just realize it is a compact wet bath, but very functional for the basic needs :). It has quiet rear AC to stay cool while plugged in and 12volt Fans to stay cool while boon-docking. It has a propane furnace to keep you warm on cold nights. It has seating for four, sleeping for 3 (2 adults and up to 1 kid, and maybe 2 kids if small and creative). All this plus huge windows for those perfect instagram pics and nighttime shades for privacy. We have kept it clean and fresh for couple or small family. We are in Summertown, TN so surrounded by amazing nature of the Buffalo river, Amish Country, within 1 hour to Nashville sights and sounds or a longer trip to the Smoky Mountains. We have completed a major upgrade to the RV's electrical with a new Wireless CarPlay/Android stereo and speakers, Roku digital player and 2 video screens, Digital RearView Mirror, second backup camera for safe parking, new Inverter/Charger and 824 Amp Hours of Lithium Batteries which means the unit can now run everything in the RV for up to 3-5 days without plugging in (Except the Rear AC, which will run but would run the batteries down in a 4-5 hours). Updated suspension and new Michelin 3 climate tires all around. Solar Charging is here as well. So Vandalf is ready to create magical memories for your family. (Please note, for previous repeat renters, the rear seating area has been remodeled to be a permanent dual twin bed or single RV King size bed. This RV does not have a generator, but instead has Solar and Lithium Batteries. As mentioned, the rear AC works primarily while camping and plugged into power, so this may not be the best fit for long summer travel while hot. The front AC works great, but on hot summer days the rear seating area can get warm.

Rented the van for a cozy weekend up in the WV snow. The amenities included were perfect for a snowy weekend. Adam was able to answer all questions upfront and was thorough in discussing how to operate all of the amenities. During the trip he was quick to respond to any questions. It was great to communicate with a host that was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend renting with Adam!

We are the Simpson Family!! No, not the one from TV. We are a traveling family who have lived in over 20 countries and traveled to about half of the states. We love to travel, eat new food, get away from the daily grind and reconnect with nature and meet new people. We have owned four RV's over the years and the memories we have made along the way are lifetime worthy family memories.
