5.0Travis was great—very responsive and helpful—and so was Surf Hippo! It’s obvious that Travis has a real eye for detail, especially in the thoughtful way he has kitted out the van. All those small touches really add up and make the experience that much more comfortable. And the bed was the best! So comfortable, with great sheets and a cozy comforter/duvet. The van really has everything you need. Just bring your food, drinks, and clothes, and you’re ready to go. Highly recommend!

5.0We had the van for 7 days and it was truly a great way to travel. The surf hippo is well made, has lots of space and handles well on the road. The turning radius was amazing and the solar panels kept everything fully changed. Travis has thought of everything a camping couple could want. The bed was also very comfortable. We really enjoyed driving, eating, and sleeping in this camper van!

5.0This van was absolutely perfect for our Olympic Peninsula road trip. It had everything we needed down to the little details and we felt at home immediately. We loved our taste of van life and would rent from Travis again in a heartbeat! It was so easy to stop at viewpoint for lunch or roll into the campsite late without having to worry about unpacking anything. The water was quick to deal with and power was never a concern, even on some cloudy days. Driving was easy in highway traffic, on winding mountain roads, and in narrow campgrounds. There wasn’t anywhere we really wanted to go on this trip where we didn’t feel comfortable driving the van. Travis was great to rent from and built some really thoughtful touches into this van. It was a privilege to take on our little adventure!
