Responsive, accommodating, and thorough
James/owners demonstrated excellent communication, answering all questions, and being very accommodating. He often delivered the camper, set it up, and provided clear operation instructions.
Towing tricky; effective AC
Towing is tricky with a mid-size SUV, resulting in slow highway speeds (55-60 mph). However, the camper is clean, roomy, and easy to set up with pop-out beds. It features an effective (though loud) AC and includes essential kitchenware.

5.0James was very communicative and easy to work with. Pick up was a breeze - he walked us through the rig and answered our questions. We then had an easy, relaxing weekend at a nearby campground. The rig worked as expected and had everything we needed. Our dog felt right at home too! Highly recommend booking with James.

5.0We had a great experience with Coastal Campers. They delivered the camper to Myakka River State Park. It was a great camper and our family of five had a lot of fun. We'll definitely be using them again!

5.0Owner was very responsive and we had a lot of questions; he answered all of them. The trailer is tricky to tow with a mid-size SUV, even with 5k towing capacity and 1350 pounds of payload. We did 55-60 mph on the interstate and it was fine but slow going. The camper got cold quick with the AC on, even in Florida Summer heat and direct sun. AC is pretty loud but you get used to it. Overall it is a great little camper and the rental process could not have been easier.

5.0James was awesome and great to work with! He made sure we had everything we needed to head to the woods at Ginnie Springs for 10 days. The Starcraft was the perfect unit for our family trip. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker! The AC worked perfectly all 10 days which was one of the reasons we rented the camper, that and the fact that it kept us high and dry when it poured rain multiple times over the week. Highly recommend James and his RVs, we’ll be renting from him next time we need a camper!
