"Frankie" is precious to us. Please use everything with care. With only 35,000 miles on her engine, she is in great condition for her age! The interior feels more like a comfortable cottage, as opposed to a luxury condo. We encourage our guests to make themselves at home! With this in mind, we provide a small vacuum and broom and cleaning supplies so guests can keep their "home away from home" tidy. Removing shoes helps limit sand/dirt being brought onboard. The space is ideal for 2 couples or 2 adults and 2-4 children.
There are 2 queen beds-one in bedroom and one above the cab, 2 semi-full sized pull-out bunks; one is the dinette and the other is the couch. The pull-out beds are best for either 1 adult or 2 small kids.
-PLEASE NO SMOKING! Not only because it reeks, but it is a serious hazard with propane gas onboard! If there's any evidence of smoking, you will lose the $1000. security deposit.-PLEASE only use RV toilet paper. It is required to buy a 4 pack of RV toilet paper, unless you bring your own at the time of pick-up.
The toilets WILL clog if anything other than specified RV toilet paper is used. NOT FUN dealing with a backed up toilet and holding tank!
-MUST USE REAR STABILIZER LEGS WITH SLIDE-OUT! (more on this in guest manual)
-Please return Frankie in the same clean condition as when you climbed aboard. Kindly, remove your garbage and food, strip beds and leave sheets on bunk. You will forfeit some or all of your security deposit if RV is left trashed, ie. dirty dishes, dirty floors, any unreported stains (we realize stuff happens! We just need to know.)
**Blackwater (waste tank) must be pumped out before returning RV. Most campgrounds have a dump out station.
OR WE CAN DO THIS FOR YOU FOR A $100.00 add-on fee. If you decide to do blackwater dump yourselves, we will train you how to do this during orientation.
-We will go over all instructions on Frankie’s systems with you before your departure; including a short test drive. This REQUIRED (from Outdoorsy) process takes 1 -1.5 hours.**Included is a full tank of gas, it is required by renter to return RV with a full tank of gas, or there will be a $50 charge plus the cost of gas to fill.**Dogs are welcome for a fee of $100. If damage occurs due to a pet, you will be charged $500 and any additional cost to replace items.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
**Late fee of $65 will apply if pick-up or drop-off time exceed 15 minutes. Please Let us know AHEAD OF TIME if you need a different pick up or drop off time and we’ll try to accommodate you. This is not always possible.
RecomendacionesNorthern Michigan is over-flowing with an abundance of natural beauty and offers endless outdoor activities in every season! Home of The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, numerous RV parks, rustic campgrounds, ski resorts, golf courses, countless inland lakes, beaches, and breathtaking views from the many hiking trails throughout the hundreds of miles of forest and beach trails. Grand Traverse Bay is surrounded by two peninsulas in Lake Michigan, which hold some of the prettiest beaches, wineries, quaint villages-Sutton's Bay, Leland, Northport, Omena, Glen Arbor, Elk rapids--where you can also find shopping and outstanding restaurants from local food trucks to fine dining.Heading north from Traverse City is the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. If you enjoy the gifts of untamed, pristine nature you need to check it out! Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, Marquette and Copper Harbor are a few of our favorite places. During the summer months, campgrounds fill up quickly so make reservations early.

Te presentamos a tu anfitrión, Katy and Brandon

Miembro desde 2020

We are Brandon and Katy, natives of Northern Michigan. We both caught the wave of wanderlust in our early twenties. Before our paths crossed, ironically, we had both worked on private yachts as a way to see the world. When we met later in life, we loved traveling together unattached to an agenda. Our favorite adventure was buying one-way plane tickets to Costa Rica!

Overall great experience. Katy and Brandon were great with communication and RV had all the immunities needed for a weekend of camping. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely rent this again and highly recommend you consider this for your next adventure!

Frankie was the perfect mate for our family trip. While we stayed put at our site and didn't get a chance to drive around, the accommodations were clean, specious and exactly what we were looking for. Brandon and Katie gave us a great overview and helped us first-time RVers learn the ropes. The master bedroom is private with a super comfortable mattress (was not expecting that) and the kids couldn't get enough of the overhead "lair" above the front seats. We hope to see Frankie again soon!

Q.Do I have to dump the waste tanks?
A.
If you're on a longer trip, then yes, you may have to go to a dump station to empty the tanks. You will be instructed on how to check the fullness of tanks and how to do this. We are happy to deal with dumping the tanks after you return the RV. It's an $85 fee.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Sometimes we can be flexible with time of pick up and drop off, but generally we have a set time. Pick up- 3pm Drop off- 12pm
