Easy clean laminate flooring for a comfortable stay. It is also equipped with extra charging ports so you will never run out of space with your modern gadgets. Please do not use the stove inside the van(causes for odours to linger in the van. We can offer a butane burner to use outside the van and campers can purchase the butane canisters from the add-ons section when booking this vehicle ( see add-ons). 5Felix was responding fast to our questions before getting to Vancouver. His place is quite central and very easy to access from the airport by Sky train. He took the time to show us around the car and made sure we were at ease with this old and iconic manual camper. The car cruises at a top speed of 90 km/h so we had the time to observe the superb view of the sea to sky highway. It was clean, well maintained mechanic-wise and comfortable to sleep in. It is a little bit pricey compared to other choices on outdoorsy but if you like the look of this vintage flashy Westfalia it is a great opportunity to create beautiful memories in an emblematic camper. One thing to note, we came by plane so we didn't have any sleeping bag or camping equipments. If you are in the same situation, I'd say don't hesitate to ask Felix for a blanket, maybe a couple of camping chair and a saucepan. Overall great experience, I would definitely recommend.

The car cruises at a top speed of 90 km/h so we had the time to observe the superb view of the sea to sky highway. It was clean, well maintained mechanic-wise and comfortable to sleep in. It is a little bit pricey compared to other choices on outdoorsy but if you like the look of this vintage flashy Westfalia it is a great opportunity to create beautiful memories in an emblematic camper. One thing to note, we came by plane so we didn't have any sleeping bag or camping equipments. If you are in the same situation, I'd say don't hesitate to ask Felix for a blanket, maybe a couple of camping chair and a saucepan. Overall great experience, I would definitely recommend.

5We had an incredible few days driving around Vancouver Island in Sunshine. She is a true joy to drive! We spent our days driving up and down the coast and our evenings at campsites and wish we could have stayed for a few more days. We met so many people who stopped us simply to admire her! Mechanically she was totally sound and we had absolutely no issues. From a comfort perspective I was totally blown away - I had the best few nights sleep I've had in a long time on the fold down bed. Felix kindly provides pillows as well as all other utensils you could possibly need so we were perfectly equipped for our 4 day adventure. I would book another trip in sunshine in a heartbeat!

Rules and policies
NO driving off road or in dirt roads / unpaved roads/ beaches restricted zones etc. ( If there is any evidence of driving off in these or other restricted areas there will be a fee of $100 plus cost of any repairs to fix any damages ).
Parking - Please only park the vehicle at designated sites ( RV parks , paved streets , homes, authorized mall parking lots and other designated and authorized paved areas etc.).
Please inform the host of your driving itinerary so he can confirm the driving / parking path and make sure its confirmed.
All driving tickets or parking tickets will be paid by the renter during the rental and while in possession of the vehicle. The host / outdoorsy must be informed of any violations.
Do not climb on top of the camper ( if there is any evidence of damage to the roof of the van there will be extra fees to fix and replace $1000 or more to fix any damage ).
NO Smoking inside the vehicle - ( Renters will be charged $200 fees for aerate the vehicle)
No driving above 90km/hr.
If vehicle is not returned with the gas level as in pre trip notation / checklist ( noted on departure form) - there will be a $50 service charge and pay for the per litre cost of fuel.
Please do not pop the top up for the westfalia. This might cause unnecessary damage to the canvas. Hence, this is why I only prefer two people in the vehicle.
This vehicle must be towed to the host Machanic location if there are any mechanical or electrical issues that come up. ( 1141 West 15th Street North Vancouver BC)
Please use a flat bed to tow vehicle is there is any issues ( as the engine is in the rear). Not towing the vehicle can cause damage to the vehicle.
