Responsive, helpful, with cancellations
Alex was consistently praised for quick, patient, and available communication, providing thorough walkthroughs and assisting with issues. However, multiple bookings were canceled by the host close to departure.
Easy driving for an older model
Despite being a 1995 model, the truck is easy to drive, roomy, and reliable for long distances. It's well-maintained with working appliances, comfortable beds, and all necessary gear.

5.0This was our first experience of travelling in an RV and our first trip to Canada. It was awesome. Alex's RV is definitely retro and some quirks took a bit of getting used to, but the old girl got us safely around British Columbia and Alberta for our 4 week trip. Alex was very responsive and was even on hand as we passed through Squamish for a few minor repairs. We would definitely recommend Alex's RetroRide for those who are after a relaxed journey. The beds were comfortable and the camper had everything we needed to make it a memorable and enjoyable trip. Thanks, Alex!

5.0Fabulous trip thanks to Alex’s truck. Really authentic and typical, fully equipped with a lot of spaces to put you stuff. Alex was always really quick to respond and help sorting out any issues we had.

Preguntas frecuentes
P.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
It's pretty much totally flexible, reach out to me and let's figure something out
P.
Is the camper suited for winter ?
A.
100%. This is a 4 wheel drive truck, with winter tired. The heater is very powerful and will keep you warm and dry, there's a hot water system as well if you really need a hot showing after a rough day.
P.
How does it work for power ? Can I stay off-grid ?
A.
There are solar panels (200w), and the battery is being charged with these, also while driving, and also when plugged in a campground. This is designed to be staying off-grid most of the time.
