The Pacific Marine Circle Route is a 263–300 km scenic loop on southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, starting and ending in Victoria. This 1–3 day journey (usually driven counter-clockwise) covers Highway 14, Pacific Marine Road, and Highway 18, featuring rugged coastal landscapes, old-growth forests, beaches near Sooke, and the Cowichan Valley.This is one of my favourite routes and there is lots of camping along the way. I always stop at Shirley Delicious for great food and vibes and then a stop at Sandcut beach for the waterfall on the beach to the left at the bottom of the trail. If you like surfing the next stop is Sombrio beach and then up to Port Renfrew where I love to camp on the beach. If the tide is low Botanical Beach is the best for underwater sealife in the tidal pools.Best camping is at Pacheedaht Campground

Next stop is Gordon Bay Park with a sandy beach on Lake Cowichan perfect for camping.

From Lake Cowichan I head south to Duncan and always stop at The Garage for some delicious food and in the summer across the street is live music.
Goldstream has camping as well as Bamberton if you want to spend one last night before hitting Victoria.

4.0Nuestra experiencia ha sido genial, tal cual se describe en el anuncio, la van hay que contar que en las subidas es realmente cierto que la furgo va despacio. Estábamos a 90-100 km/h y al llegar a una cuesta, la velocidad se reducía a 40 aprox.. hay que tenerlo en cuenta para ir tranquilos. Por el resto bien, de los dos fuegos, solo funcionaba uno y la cama a nuestro gusto, extremadamente blanda.. fué lo que peor llevamos, que era el colchón muy fino. Por el resto genial, tiene todo lo necesario.

1.0Super disappointing trip. Our first day I proposed to my now fiancée and we were both very excited and happy. That was the highlight of our trip and it got much worse after that. We tried to put up the awning and it seemed to be broken as the poles wouldn’t stay in place. Then we went to get ready for bed and found that the bedsheets were dirty and had a huge yellow piss stain in the middle of it. Then we decided to sleep in the upper bed and found that the ceiling was covered in mold. We woke up the next morning and found that most of our food had been eaten by mice and there was mouse poop everywhere. As we were fairly certain the mice were there before our trip we contacted Cyrus and they were very rude from the first message and was blaming us for letting mice into the van, didn’t even get a sorry. The first day we kept all the doors and windows closed at all times because we heard that the mosquitoes were bad but apparently they can get in other ways (which I feel should be fixed if that’s true). They told us to put Irish spring soap all over the van which didn’t work. What was supposed to be a super special and memorable trip turned into a nightmare.

4.0Izzy was a pleasure to drive! We would definitely rent again. Set up was simple. Found lots of beautiful campsites on or close to the ocean which is what I had hoped for. Host was very responsive and explained everything in great detail. Thank you for a great holiday
