Looking to explore The Island!?This is a perfect way to do it!It's your vehicle and accommodations in one package!***Pick it up in the Morning of your booking and return it in the Evening - this allows you to maximize holiday time and not be rushed.*** It is unlike a hotel in the sense you are not expected to check in/out by a specific time.I like getting on the phone with my guests prior to booking, to ensure this is a good fit for your trip or just to talk about suggested places to visit!__________This has been a passion project for me for the past few years and I am ready to share it with visitors who want to rip around to see the sightsIt is equipped with:- Diesel heater to keep it cozy- Fan to keep it fresh- Fridge- Propane Burning stovetop- Sink- King Size comfy bed- Solar Panel w charging outlets for electronics etc- Dresser / storage- Porta potty- Lights- Charging station-Thermal curtains / insulation for temperature mitigation__________*pet friendly*van must stay on Vancouver Island (surrounding islands like Salt spring / Galiano etc are fine)*NO logging roads permitted (within reason, if your know a destination is near-by a gravel road is fine)_________I can have Marengo waiting for you at the airport or ferry terminal when u arrive (this is a $150 fee to account for the time/orchestration involved. Or $75 if you want one way pickup or drop-off)The van comes with 160km per day Free, then 0.35 cents a km after that. - Prep fee: 28,35 €. This fee will cover stocking, preparing, and cleaning Marengo before and after each trip!

Alex’s van was wonderful. Well stocked with everything you might need, well designed storage, water, power etc, and Alex was great to deal with. Highly recommend this van.

The Marengo was a fantastic home for our island getaway. No surprises - true to the photos and description. Smooth and easy to drive, very comfortable bed, tons of storage and beautiful wood finish. Alex was a great host - communicative and easygoing. We look forward to another trip in the Marengo some day soon!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
When you book the van it is your for the entire day. There is no set time. You can depart at 8am and come back at 5pm if desired
In terms of location I am willing to drive the van out to the airport / ferry terminal to meet my arriving guests. There is a fee for this but its only to compensate for the time / orchestration in doing so.
