Sin City is well known for having it all—expensive hotels, gambling, live shows, nightclubs, beautiful nature, and all the food you could ever eat. But the city also has some really great RV parks from which to base your Las Vegas adventures—meaning you can have all the experiences of a night out on the town, without having to pay the steep cost of staying in a hotel. Not to mention, many of these parks are super affordable, which means you’ll have more money to spend on activities!

Hitchin’ Post pool

Hitchin’ Post RV Park & Motel

Located near the Nellis Airforce base and only a 15-minute drive north of the strip, Hitchin’ Post RV Park has everything you need to enjoy your Las Vegas vacation. Coming in with the most affordable monthly rate, you can really experience all the hidden gems that the city has to offer. There are also many amenities that make this park stand out, including a remote controlled security gate, free high-speed wireless internet, a year-round heated saltwater pool, fitness center, golf practice facility, two dog runs, a dog washing station, a huge laundromat, and a saloon on the property with gaming and food.

Las Vegas RV Resort

If you want a quiet, adults-only experience, then Las Vegas RV Resort is the place for you. You won’t find any screaming children while you’re enjoying a drink by the pool, as the park is for adults 18 and over. This top-rated Good Sam Resort is located just 20 minutes from all the fun on the strip and features a 24-hour security guard and gated entry, free WiFi, a solar heated pool and spa, fitness center, meeting room, propane delivery, a dedicated fenced pet area, and laundry on site. Reviews say that the updated bathroom and shower facilities are some of the best people have seen at any RV park.

Las Vegas KOA at Sam’s Town

You can get the full Vegas experience without ever leaving the RV park at the Las Vegas KOA at Sam’s Town. Located just minutes from the strip, the Las Vegas KOA features a casino right on the property, with a Vegas-style pool, waterfall park, an in-house movie theater with 18 screens, and a 56-lane bowling alley. There are also many restaurant options available, including a full food court, a buffet, a BBQ restaurant, and a TGI Friday’s! They also feature the usual amenities, including a pool and laundry facilities. If you want to get out of the park and head to all the action, there’s a free shuttle that takes you to the strip and into downtown. If you’re not careful, you might get so wrapped up in the excitement happening at the RV park you might not ever make it to the strip!

Sometimes you want to visit all the hustle and bustle that Las Vegas has to offer, but you don’t necessarily want to camp right in the thick of it.
