It’s a big world out there and for every outdoor adventure, there’s an Outdoorsy RV ready to take you there. In fact, some of our RVs are adventures in and of themselves. Here are some of the craziest, coolest, and most extreme RVs you can find on Outdoorsy.
Buckle up and get ready to roll out for outdoor fun.
The ultimate party machine
The Dynamix Corp Grand Sport has the distinction of being the most expensive RV you can rent on Outdoorsy today. For the low low price of $2,500 a day, you can treat your friends to the ultimate mobile party experience. This 45-foot-long monster is not so much of a camper as it is an RV turned into a limousine. It sleeps zero people, but you could probably crash out on massive leather couches and stare at the mirrored ceilings in a pinch—or just stay up all night playing video games on the giant screen TV. This crazy cool RV is available from Ultimate Tailgating in Kennesaw, Georgia and, true to their name, they offer all kinds of special event packages for sporting events and concerts.
Something more affordable
A lot more affordable. In fact, this 2015 Rogue River CoolCamp is the least expensive trailer currently on Outdoorsy. Yes, it is more or less a box on wheels with a mattress, but at $29 a night they don’t come any cheaper. And while it isn’t fancy, it’s clean, easy to tow, and even has air conditioning—and what more do you really need to enjoy the great outdoorsy than a cool, comfortable place to sleep? Mathew Nelson rents his CoolCamp out of Springfield, Ore.
Off-road RV awesomeness
Are you itching to leave the beaten path behind you? Want to camp where no camper has been before? Then you need to rent The “Roamah.” This amazing EarthRoamer XV LT comes to us from Fausto Molinet of Colorado Springs, Colo. These RVs are built to go off road and off the grid. They have solar power, big batteries, a powerful generator, great AC, and potent heaters all packed into a relatively small vehicle. From desert sands to snowy fields—you name the terrain, it’s no problem for The Roamah. Rugged and luxurious, the EarthRoamer even has a built-in plumbed coffee maker. Roaming the earth will set you back $250 per night, but the adventures you can have off the beaten path are priceless.
Vanlife, Northwest style
The EarthRoamer can take you anywhere off-road, but the “Flagship” from Seattle Camper Vans will take you anywhere a car can go. Camper vans are perfect if you want to visit both outdoor and urban areas. This converted 2017 Ram Promaster van has been outfitted for cold weather camping and driving, perfect for exploring the Pacific Northwest. The interior is wood paneled to blend in with nature and the bed is situated near the rear door so you can lay in bed, pop open the doors, and sleep next to the ocean. This awesome RV is the epitome of freedom—freedom that will run you about $185 per night.
Live riveted
That’s the slogan for the Airstream brand, a legend among RVs. Inside and out, Airstreams personify crazy cool to a T. This Silver Tiny House – Airstream International is a case in point. On the outside is the retro elegance of the polished aluminum body Airstreams are most famous for. Inside, an elegant gleaming interior dripping with style and sophistication. They are a dream to tow and spark conversations everywhere you travel. Cal Viall of Carbondale, Colo. will happily get you settled in your luxury home-away-from-home and on your way to adventure. All this can be yours for only $249 a night.
Be a time traveler
Did we mention Airstreams were legendary? That’s because they have been making them since the 1930s. If you want to experience vintage RV luxury at its finest, consider this 1957 Airstream Overlander, affectionately named: “Dimples.” This trailer is a living piece of history and its original interior has been lovingly restored and conditioned to make it every bit the luxury RV it was when it was first put on the road. Cruise down the highway with Dimples and you are guaranteed to turn heads. At only $130 a night, this trailer is a real bargain.
Rescue yourself from the mundane
When does outdoor adventure become an emergency? When you go camping in an ambulance! You may have never thought, “Gee, it sure would be cool to go to Yellowstone National Park in a 1980’s vintage Ford ambulance,” but Uriah Werner of Colorado Springs, Colo. has. And for a mere $126 a night, it can be your dream too. I’ll let UIria tell you in his own words why this is the coolest RV on Outdoorsy. “The party is never far when using the Campulance!” he says. “With an inverter, generator, interior and exterior lights and brand new tires, this beast is ready to roll!”

If you thought these were some of the coolest and craziest RVs you’ve ever seen, know that it’s just the beginning. There are so many awesome RVs available to rent all over the country on Outdoorsy. It wasn’t easy picking these out and there were many runner-ups in every category we could think of.
