While we hope to give you the most up-to-date information, operational status can change quickly, so it’s always best to double-check our most recent updates by calling your destination before you head out.

The National Park Service responds to the coronavirus
The National Park Service (NPS) is in charge of numerous units across the United States, including the District of Columbia and the US territories. Several park designations fall under the NPS service umbrella. All major NPS sites are following the direction of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by taking precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19 virus at each one of its facilities. Each park, monument, and memorial, battlefield, or other NPS-designated sites will inform the public of closures and restrictions that might impact visitor operations, so visit that unit’s website for the most current information.

We understand that most RVers are concerned about national park campground closures, as well as the availability of on-site amenities such as dump stations, water, and public restrooms.
