Looking for a career in the outdoors industry?
It’s not all breathtaking sunsets, dappled lit forests, and purple mountain majesty. While it’s pretty darn close, you’ll need certain experience and skills, and the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) has the continuing education programs you need to get there.
To help you reach your goal, OIA has created a first-of-its-kind program to help you get one step closer to the job of your dreams.
OIA’s two programs are offered in conjunction with Utah State University and Western Colorado University and provide two certificates you need to take your career to the next level:
- Sustainable Product Design and Supply Chain Certificate: Offered in partnership with Utah State Univesity, you can learn about sustainable product design, the circular economy, sustainability assessment tools and metrics, and sustainable supply chains.
- Responsible Business in the Outdoors Industry Certificate: With this program from Western Colorado, you’ll take deep dive into marketing and brand strategy, leadership, social responsibility, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
