Tips for Your Halloween RV Trip

Obviously you will want to get the most out of your Halloween getaway. Below are our top tips for doing just that.

Pack Warm Clothes

Many Halloween destinations have chilly autumn nights. Even if the daytime highs seem warm enough, make sure to bring warm layers to stay comfortable during evening events.

Decorate Your RV

Get into the spirit by decorating your RV with Halloween lights, pumpkins, and spooky décor. You likely won’t be the only one with decorations, so be sure to drive around and see others’ RVs decked out for the season!

Plan Ahead

Popular Halloween destinations can get crowded. As an example, around one million people visit the city of Salem during the month of October. Because of this, it is crucial that you book your RV park reservations well in advance to secure your spot.

Respect the Local Legends

Keep in mind that many of these locations have deep historical roots and local legends. Always approach ghost tours and haunted sites with respect and an open mind.

As you can see, there are tons of amazing RV Halloween destinations scattered across the country. Whether you’re looking to go on a ghost hunt, learn some spooky history, or simply enjoy some family Halloween fun, there is an excellent Halloween destination out there for you.
