Anyone who has ever visited Mammoth, CA knows just how beautiful this gem of a town is. Visiting Mammoth is something every traveler should do at least once in their lifetime. The best time to visit is definitely during the winter season, when the slopes are sure to be plenty snowy and ready to ski. Therefore, if you are planning a winter getaway for this year, Mammoth might just be your place.

Where to Stay in Mammoth

When planning a trip to Mammoth, the first thing to consider is lodging. While there are a few options when it comes to lodging in the area, our favorite of them all is the Mammoth Mountain RV Park. This gorgeous campground is one of the most beautiful places you will ever wake up in, offering breathtaking views of mountains and the lovely sounds of nature each and every morning.

Mammoth

Mammoth Mountain RV park is incredibly close to many area attractions. With amenities–such as an indoor heated pool, lovely hiking trails, and full hook-ups–this campground is certainly hard to pass up. To make a good thing even better, the ability to cook your own meals and sleep in the privacy of your own space make RV camping much more appealing than most hotel options, and although a cabin offers both of these benefits, the cost of staying in an RV is much more appealing than the price of a cabin. In fact, RV camping is even cheaper than most of the hotels in the area, with all of the added benefits mentioned above.

For many people, RV camping is dismissed as impossible because they do not own an RV. However, with the birth of RV sharing sites like ours, the option of staying in an RV should never be pushed aside. After all, a rented RV offers all of the same benefits mentioned above, and even with the additional cost of rent figured into the lodging total, staying in Mammoth Mountain RV Park is still one of the most affordable options for lodging in the area, and definitely the best value of the available offerings.

So what are you waiting for? Take a moment to browse some of the many rental RVs available and find the perfect rig to take on your winter trip to Mammoth, CA. You certainly won’t regret it!
