Bluebelle is a lovely, comfortable van which is easy to drive. It is very well equipped and we had a great trip in her for over nearly three weeks. Elise, the owner, was very helpful indeed. Thoroughly recommend Bluebelle.

Carwyn gave us a tremendous couple of weeks exploring the South Island. The fixed bed was huge, the fit out spotless and understated and the van ran faultlessly the whole time. Electric veining fan was a huge plus, we never felt hot or stifled. Huge storage under the bed was perfect for keeping the living space free of clutter and the van came equipped for all our needs. Daisy the owner was very professional and made sure everything was right for us. Surprisingly roomy but easy to drive, we can really recommend it for a hassle free trip.

We had such a lovely time in Dakoda! We spent 8 days traveling around the South Island (3 adults) and felt the van was a great size for us. The sleeping space worked out well and Dakoda has good head room height for cooking.
Lots of little touches were thought of (bug repellent and a hair dryer) and the van was very well organized.
Brenda and Ashleigh were lovely folk to meet and rent from and they were on hand with any questions we had.
Would highly recommend!

Fantastic 1 months trip in Cruzar. Andy & Brenda were excellent to communicate with and take a lot of pride in their vans. The van was in excellent condition and had everything we needed inside. Made our trip in the South Island very memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip in Hirta. The campervan was warm and inviting, very functional, and larger that you think! Very comfortable as well. Although we didn't meet in Kieran in person (he had his friend, Jack, take care of the logistics) everything went smoothly, communication was fluid, and Jack even gave us a ride to our next destination and held some of our extra luggage for us. The Quirky experience is personal, unique, and well-suited for those looking at sustainable travel practices. We highly recommend a trip with Hirta, and would do it again ourselves if (hopefully when) we come back to NZ!

We rented Bluebelle for around two weeks and it was fantastic! We had so much fun driving her around the South Island. Elise was very quick and helpful to respond when we had any questions. The kitchen was well kitted out and we loved the small interior touches that made Bluebell really homely. Everything about Bluebell was brilliantly thought out and we would highly recommend hiring this camper!

Instead of a sterile run of the mill RV we were privileged to rent a camper with artistic personality! Boho was just the perfect mode of travel for us with incredible personal touches and generous perks that made it a particularly memorable journey! Our host was super real and invested in our trip, wanting us to have the best time ever! Thank you Quirky for creating a forum for people with vision to share their creative and personal RV ideas with others!

We had an incredible experience with Quirky Campers in our van, Mary Rose. The camper van owner, Matt, made the whole process so seamless - he gave us recommendations for our trip (places to go and see), as well as explained how to use everything in the camper van before we left so we were very confident at the start of our trip. The van was beautiful and so user-friendly (super comfortable bed, everything you need for cooking, everything you need for activities like chairs, table, solar shower, etc). This was a highlight of our trip to New Zealand and we can’t wait to do it again!

We had a great time travelling around the South Island in Button (the second Camper we have hired from Quirky NZ). The vehicle was great and the owners and Quirky team were very helpful with any queries we had. Would recommend!

Tira is wonderful! I had a brilliant two weeks in her, exploring the North Island. She's easy to drive and park, and a comfy bed to sleep on.

We had an amazing time in Sammy! He is a lovely compact camper and comes with a good supply of pillows/blankets/utensils! The owner Ashleigh is lovely! Always happy to help with any questions we had and is always willing to help/solve any issues as soon as possible! Would 10/10 recommend booking Sammy with her :)

Easy booking. The owners provide a great service (contact, pick up/drop off), and are great people. Queenie was awesome - great condition, good to drive and very well setup. No shortcuts were taken when setting up this campervan.

We had a brilliant month in Barbara - the van had great character as well as being very functional and spacious. Easy to drive, comfortable to sleep in and far nicer layout/use of space than the other counterparts we came across. Very homey and surprisingly easy to live in considering the confined space! Absolutely recommend!

Hiring Mary Rose was one of the best decisions we made to travel around and see the South Island! Matt and Kate have put in a lot of thought into ensuring the van is not just Quirky, but also very functional! The van was easy to drive, and very well furnished with a comfortable fixed bed and a lot of storage space under it, an easy to use 2-burner stove and utensils, a heater for the cold nights, and a solar panel that meant we never actually needed to power up at any of the campsites!
Over and above this, Matt and Kate were very easy to communicate with and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable trip. They gave us useful recommendations on where to go, and apps to download to find gas, and campsites en route. They also went to the extent of having us order groceries ahead of our landing in NZ given that it was a public holiday, and then picking up and stocking said groceries in the van.
We take back many wonderful memories of the South Island, only possible courtesy our Quirky Camper - Mary Rose!

I absolutely loved my camper Kereru and my overall experience with Quirky Campers. I decided to extend my trip and was looking for a new van day of in the middle of the holiday season. Quirky worked with urgency after reading my message and were able to get me into a new van within a couple hours of my initial outreach whereas most companies wouldn't even respond or answer the phone.
