Location: Daisy is based at Cruzar Custom Campervans in Ohoka, just north of Christchurch and around 20 minutes by taxi or Uber from Christchurch Airport. Christchurch makes a great kick-off point for a round trip of the South Island. If you're driving your own car, Brenda, Ashleigh and Andy are happy for you to park it at the property while you're away.In The Cab: 3 belted seats up front, with air conditioning, a reversing camera for stress-free parking, and a radio with audio inputs so you can bring your own soundtrack. Daisy runs on petrol and has a manual transmission.Kitchen Area: With 1.9m of interior height, most people can stand and move about comfortably. Daisy has a gas stove, a sink and a fridge, plus all the cooking basics, pots, pans, dishes and utensils you'll need to eat well on the road, and a dining table for meals, working or games.Dining/Living/Sleeping Area: A comfortable double bed (1.5m x 1.8m) and a dining table with seating, all wrapped in Daisy's cheerful yellow decor and soft furnishings. She sleeps 2.Water Facilities: Daisy is certified self-contained, with a fixed toilet onboard (toilet paper provided) plus a 40 litre fresh water tank and 40 litre grey water tank, so she's all set for freedom camping. Drinking water is available onboard.Electrical/Lighting: Daisy's house battery charges as you drive, so you can head off-grid with the essentials covered. There are USB ports for keeping devices topped up, plus electric and water hook-up for when you pitch up at a powered site.Ventilation: A ceiling fan and air conditioning keep things fresh and comfortable on warmer days.Conversion Story:
