My RV, affectionately known as Madge, is my much-loved travel companion. She’s a used 2009 Cruise America RV -- the standard 25-foot model -- so she’s easy to drive and handle. It's a traditional Class C motorhome with a Ford V-10 engine, and has many self-contained features you'd expect, including a power generator. It has an automatic transmission and a fuel economy of around 10 MPG. Right now, delivery and pick-up of RV is not possible. You will need to get to Sonoma to get the RV yourself.

I first rented a Cruise America RV to go to Burning Man way back in 1996 (after tent camping there for three years) and have been hooked on RVs ever since! After realizing that I could have bought FOUR RVs with all the money I'd spent at Cruise America over the years, I finally bought a used one from them in 2015, and now "Madge" is my trusty travel companion. She also doubles as a Black Rock City newspaper office -- as the editor/publisher of the BRC Weekly, I've been publishing a newspaper at Burning Man since 1995.
She's been to five Burning Mans, three Wasteland Weekends, a solar eclipse festival in Oregon, and several places in California and Nevada. I’ve done quite a few mods from her original Cruise America state, including adding a bike rack, memory foam mattress topper, extra mirrors, and more. Plus stickers. Oh yes, so many stickers. Yes, Madge is a veritable Burning Man sticker museum. :-)
