Fall in love with Fall Creek Falls

In the heart of the Cumberland Plateau, west of the Smokies, you’ll find the Tennessee treasure that is Fall Creek Falls and the state park named after it.

This dreamy land of cascading waterfalls, rock faces and cable bridges that sway over creeks and tall pines hosts not only RVers and tent campers but also a bevy of outdoorsy types, who come here for fishing, horseback riding, golfing, zip-lining, biking, paddling, swimming, hiking and wildlife viewing. Fall Creek Falls State Park’s self-contained atmosphere of all-around outdoor fun means it’s the perfect getaway for families and couples.

The park has more than 200 wooded campsites and over 35 miles of hiking trails, many of which lead to impressive waterfalls and breathtaking scenery, especially during the fall months.

The park’s cable trail is a steep, challenging path to the base of two of its most beautiful waterfalls. The view at the end is well worth the hike down.

Bring your own kayak, canoe or paddleboard any time or rent a boat during the busy season for a scenic day on the water. Set up camp and leave the RV at your campsite, or stay for the day and park at one of several scenic parking areas that have plenty of room for RVs.
